Dr. Kimberly McCord

Dr. Kimberly McCord is Professor Emeritus of Music Education at Illinois State University where she taught courses in special music education, general music and jazz. She taught music and special education in the Denver Public Schools for ten years.

  • Author of Accessing music: Using UDL to enhance student learning in the general music classroom (2014) Alfred Music. Exceptional Pedagogy for Children with Exceptionalities (2016) Oxford. 
  • Grants from the Kennedy Center, Apple and the MacArthur Foundation to study children with disabilities.

Ryan C. Hess is a teacher, composer and musician with over 12 years experience teaching music and arts to K-12 students.

Work in audio has been a significant portion of Christopher’s livelihood for over 25 years. After a parallel full time career in retail IT and accounting, Mr. Boyd has transitioned to the full time gig economy as a music technologist.  Specializing in primarily classical live location recording, his additional work as an event MC, DJ, and live sound engineer has given him experience in a wide range of genres.
